What is Discover Scuba Diving?
Discover Scuba Diving (also known as a “try dive”) is the easiest way to try diving for the first time. You need no training and no certification. After a calm briefing you take your first breaths in shallow water, and as soon as you feel ready, your instructor accompanies you down to the coral reefs.
No time pressure with us
Many dive centres work with large groups and fixed time slots. Not us. On a Discover Scuba Diving day you are with your instructor one-to-one – just the two of you. How long a dive lasts is decided not by the clock but by how you feel: usually between 15 and 25 minutes. That leaves plenty of time to get used to breathing underwater at your own pace.
From the beach or from the boat
From the beach – 45 €: The calmest way in. You walk straight from the shore into the water – no boat, no harbour, no schedule. Ideal for your very first dive.
From the boat – 55 €: We take you to a beautiful reef a little further out. A bit more adventure, with the same calm one-to-one care.
How your day works

- Return to your hotel
Your instructor stays by your side at all times. Depth: 5 to 7 metres.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
You do not need to be an experienced swimmer, but you should feel comfortable in the water. Your instructor is right next to you the whole time.
Can my child dive too?
Yes, Discover Scuba Diving is possible from age 10.
What if I am nervous?
Completely normal the first time. You dive one-to-one and at your own pace – you decide how far you go.
Do I need a medical certificate?
Only with certain pre-existing conditions. Everyone fills in the short questionnaire on site.
How deep do we go?
Between 5 and 7 metres.
Can companions come along?
On the boat option, yes: non-divers come along for 35 € and can snorkel.
