Why Advanced?
With the Open Water Diver you dive to 18 metres. The Advanced Open Water Diver takes you to as deep as 30 metres — and above all it gives you more safety and skill. You do not learn in a classroom but in the water: five adventure dives in which you directly apply and build on your skills.
From the beach and from the boat
The course is spread over two days: one day from the beach, one day from the boat. That way you experience both worlds — the calm entry at the shore and the beautiful reefs and wrecks that you can only reach by boat.
Your five dives
Two dives are fixed:
- Deep diving (Deep) — your step to as deep as 30 metres
- Underwater navigation — finding your way safely underwater
You choose three more together with your instructor, depending on conditions and interest — for example wreck diving, current diving or perfect buoyancy.
