What is EFR?
Emergency First Response (EFR) is an internationally recognised first aid course. In one day you learn the key skills to react correctly in an emergency, from cardiopulmonary resuscitation to treating injuries. This knowledge helps you not only when diving, but everywhere in everyday life.
Who is the course for?
For everyone. You need no dive certification and no previous experience. Divers take the EFR as the foundation for the PADI Rescue Diver, but non-divers are warmly welcome too, anyone who simply wants to be able to help in a real emergency.
What you learn
- Primary care: cardiopulmonary resuscitation and life-saving immediate measures
- Secondary care: first aid for injuries and illnesses
- Correct and safe behaviour at the scene of an accident
